Rise early and set off with your tour guide to Musanze province where the Volcanoes National Park is situated. On arrival report to the park offices by 7:00 am for registration where you will receive a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Together with your group, tracking gear, packed lunch and porter for the backpack (if you want one), you will move into the bamboo forests to search for the endangered primates. The search may take as little as 30 minutes or up to several hours, depending on how deep your gorilla family has moved into the forest in search of water, food and shelter. Once you find the gorillas, enjoy at least one hour interacting with them as they eat, play and tease each other. After taking as many videos and photos as you like, you will make the return hike to your starting point.

Back at the park offices enjoy refreshments and snacks before embarking on your return journey back to your hotel to end this 1 day gorilla safari.
