After having breakfast you’ll arrive at the Bwindi Park for registration and a briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla tracking. Before setting off you can take a porter which is going to help you with your backpack and packed lunch. The time you spent hiking will depend on how deep the gorilla family group has moved into the woods in their search for food, water and even settlement.
Once you find the gorillas, enjoy an hour interacting with them; as they eat, play and tease each other. After you made as many photos and videos it’s time to return to the starting point.
In the afternoon we’re heading out for a stride to the Batwa community – a local tribe that settles around the Bwindi forest. While interacting with the local people you’ll learn all about the way the tribe is living.
